IGN have posted a screener movie of the very cool Nintendo Revolution teaser. If your first glance at the pad didn’t convince you, you will have to admit that you smiled more than once while watching this video, thinking about the games these people were playing and how you actually wanted to play them too…Watch the video here (Quicktime movie)

Yes,you can plug the old controler into the system (if you guys have seen the system). Although the system will not be as powerful as the X-box 360 or the PS3, ign says nothing about the graphics. LOL, this system is going go kick major a$$!!!

wrong! the Revolution will be at least par with both PS3 and 360! Plus, this controller will become the new line. It has GYROSCOPIC measuring capability, allowing it REAL TIME interaction. How can you now want to play with this? Think of the possibilities!

I’ve always not liked the nintendo controller because it isn’t dual analog but this is perfect. If you look at how it works you see that you move your man with the left analog stick and you just point the right stick at the screen and fire just like a real gun. That is so much better than moving my crosshairs with an analog stick.
If I am playing a non fps game then my left hand is free to smoke cigs, drink beer, and masturbate. GAMING HEAVEN!

This is ridiculous, ITS A KIDS TOY, if anyone over the age on 13 buys this there sad, i was big a PS3 fan but this XBOX 360 is the way forward, ps3 cant compete, cant be compatible with pc, cant have a good online features, Sony can not compete with Bill Gates, its impossible. i thought the xbox was crap, ps2 was great but bill gates was not competing at that time hes states he wantin to see if people wud buy his console, NOW HES COMPETING.I dont like gameboys but that was the onli thing nintendo had goin for em until the PSP.

Nintendo are innovating again, and all Sony and Microsoft are able to do is sit there and watch (or in Microsoft’s case, pump an Xbox full of ‘roids. The DS caused a full on stir when it came around, and all that stands between it and handheld domination is the jacked up excuse for an MP3 player PSP - and let’s face it, it aint much besides. The Revolution will put a new slant on the gaming industy - remember, change is a good thin, especially in an age where we have all become so stagnant to the point that what a console (or indeed gaming in general) is, that we reject one of the newest and most exciting innovations ever. I for one am excited. Oh, and by the way, I own both Sony and Nintendo systems.

Anyone remember the analog stick started by who else NINTENDO!!!. revolution looks great the system is definetly the hottest, maybe the graphic arent better than xbox360 or ps3 BUT they ARE comparable, people automatically think nintendos only games are mario and donkey kong games, but its not true, they have some great titles, resident evil 4(best on gamecube) they have zelda(mayjor ass kicker)and metroid prime and many others, plus those who dont like revolution controller, just plug in ur old gamecube controller.

Lets face it. People are being totally brainwashed by the hype of xbox 360. They are lucky they bought the rights to Perfect Dark cause Halo 3 and that game will be the only thing that can save them. PS3 will be awesome in terms of graphics too. But we all know that graphics NEVER and i mean NEVER make a game. Its content and INNOVATION that makes people want to play games. If you think of the innovation that this controller will bring to games, its uncomparible to other new gen systems. If your afraid of change like so many close-minded people are, just use the old gamecube controller (which is pretty much the same thing as an xbox controller xbox fans). For those of you who dont think racing will work, what if you could hold the controller sideways like you would hold a steering wheel. Just think things out a little more before you bash and eventually Nintendo will be back on top.

The online features will be awesome - already i can sit in the local boozer with my DS and race people from all over the world, completely wirelessly, completely free. It’s the future.

I gotta say, Nintendo’s really done it again. Honestly, I HATED Nintendo ‘cuz it was always the same thing (Mario, DK, Metroid, Pikmin, Zelda, and a LOT of… colorful games). But now, it’s gonna be great again!!! The controller ROCKS! (Except for the fact that you’ll look like a total idiot while playing…) But it’ll be great!!! I dunno if this will beat the PS3, if it does it’ll be ‘cuz of the controller, but it will DEFINETLY beat the XBOX 360!! ‘Cuz the only thing the XBOX 360’s good at is sitting there and looking pretty, but this, huh this, is gonna be BIG! Nintendo Revolution is gonna suck big time. Because first of all you are gonna look like a retarded person while playing. Second of all Nintendo is gonna have a hard time getting third party support which has always been a problem for the company. And third graphics are gonna suck. How the hell am I supposed to play Tenchu and GTA with that controller, not to mention other great titles for the other consoles. Resident Evil 5 is not going to the revolution because of two things the controller and the grafics. Do yourself a favor and stick with the 360 and PS3. You won’t regret it

This is goin’ to be the best console in the HISTORY!!! Just think about it!!! The controlla is great, the system looks great and (if u know Nintendo) the gameplay will be great too.Now, the grafix might not be the best, but just think, would you want a great looking game with horrible gameplay and short storylines or a regular lookin game wit great gameplay and storylines? I would choose the 2nd option and I know you would too, which is why i’m choosin the revolution!!!

my one concern is will my arms or hands get tired constantly holding out the controller?
when i play games like zelda and resident evil i usually rest my arms on my lap, apart from that i think that the new innovative controller has an almost infinite grip on future games for nintendo
very impressive….resident evil 5 would be great to play with one and people with disabilities can now join in,

The controller thing is not exciting me. If I want physical movement, I work out. When I play games, I just want to sit back on the couch and veg. I don’t even think about the controller, it’s not what sells a system. Software is what sells, and if Nintendo is just going to offer rehashed Mario, Zelda games like they’ve been doing for the last decade, and expect me to lap it up because the controller is different…no thanks.

You’re all forgetting: the Rev can plug in a shell, or the old GC controller. That means you can play the games you want using the GC controller. Xbox fanboys, you only say “Xbox is the best” because the Xbox 360 came out first out of the next-gen consoles. Playstation’s slipping; they have yet to invent something totally new. Oh wow, a PSP with media player. Rev will totally pwn, wifi enabled, and the ability to download NES, SNES, and N64 games.

first off i cant wait for revolutions to hit the stores nintendo is and always will be the best nintendo is the only company trying somthing new everyone else is just giving the system more memory and better graphics, not a single original idea, just try to name one. i was stupid enough to buy a 360 and what a waste of money omg(850$cdn for console with 20g hdrive game, warranty and extra controller). the memory is so f**ked on it ill beat a game then come back a week later and it will only be half beaten.and the graphics really arent that great.also psp is a piece of crap for those of u who think its better i’d rather have the ds, the psp screen is really bad in the sunlight i think it was designed for basement dwellers. and does anyone know how much the revolution is gonna cost/ when it is coming outi cant wait :)

Time to Get a few Things Straight.
If your arm is gunna get tired from playing a video game with one arm, or you’re gunna get blistars, you must be really weak, and you could use the exersize, lol. Now, the X-box 360 isnt that big off a deal, its an X-box with a few upgrades and you can only apreciate the graphics if you have HD TV. PS3 will have the best graphics, but there games are all single player based.. so if you’re single and you live in your moms basement, go right ahead. DS vs PSP, if you actually read up on the sales world wide, DS has sold more Units and Made more Money than the PSP, thus making it superior by sales. Someone was complaing about playing fighting games and sport games with a one handed controller, for fighting games: attach the joystick fot any game that requires that kinda fuction, and you can use it left handed, and as for a NFL game, how hard is to to pic a play and move to the X where you through the Ball? And Yes, Nintendo has alot of Kids games, but they also have a Tone of Mature games with Blood Shed asswell, ie Resident Evil, one of the the Best game Series of all time. So before any of you X-box / PSP lovers deside to bash nintendo, get you facts straight, cause you look like an idiot. and last but not lest, Nintedo isnt Targeting Verteran Gamers that have been playing games since they were in dipers, which is 90% of the people readin this, They are Targeting the Hole World, just Imagine a day where you Girlfriend would want to play a game with you, if you have one, if you live in your parents basment.. probly not, but you never know, lol, thats my 5 cents, Peace!

Wat the hell is all the fighting for?? Games and consoles rule. FULLSTOP. So stop bitching and try and get it through their heads, 3 COMPANIES ARE BETTER THAN ONE. So then at least people won’t hav to steal ideas. I have loved all of the consoles no matter what the status or sales. If your a tru gamer (like me) you LOVE all the consoles and without hesitation should cherish them all (dont forget PC games too). And one more thing. This console war has gone for so friken long that i think it’s started getting old. If i could (and i would) I’d get all 3 consoles in stead of just one. Why cant they just work together, in both innovation, gameplay, graphics and technology? Isn’t that the tru “REVOLUTION”??

Hey, I just wana say that this looks pretty cool. Im not the biggest gamer out there, and ive always liked real sports over gaming, because u can actualy get into it, use your body, and enjoy it physicaly. With this out, im thinking i might actualy buy it, since it has something new, where I can actualy be part of the game.
I think that it’s a great idea, and if u dont like it, u can use the old controler. Anway, I cant wait to start playing swordfighting games, RPGs, or whatever with this sweet inovation.

it looks so sweet. theres gonna be a sports game with tennis baseball and golf and you use the controller to play those sports. theres also the new Zelda game Twilight Princess for it. Red Steel will be so cool
