360 Launch In Japan Lacking
In North America and Europe, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 sold out in most retail locations within hours of going on sale. In Japan, though, it was a different story, as there were still plenty of consoles on shelves throughout its debut weekend.

As expected. The first XBOX did even worse when it launched in Japan. Unless MS draws out attention by having some game releases with the XBOX 360 that Japanese gamers would enjoy, they wouldn’t give a second glance to it.

Yup! You are right but I think this factor should be considered for further promotion.
