Face it, Sony. Your insistence at creating another format with which to view movies was pointless. POINTLESS! The limited number of (often crap) movies that you released on UMD can now be seen in bargain bins everywhere.
The only thing that is likely to keep the UMD format alive is the porn industry. Yes, UMD porn. There’s quite a lot here in Japan. One company called HMP has been releasing Japanese Idol porn on the UMD and has released this ad to promote it, as seen and translated by insertcredit.com:
