Final Fantasy XII Potions and reviews
As Taro reported, the Final Fantasy Potion drinks have been released. You can buy them everywhere, including your local 7-Eleven, or if you’re truly hardcore, buy them secondhand from Den Den Town’s back streets at inflated prices.
Anyway, I got my hands on one. It was a bit disappointing. The bottle shapes are nice but just cheap blue plastic. Glass would’ve been nicer. Also, the drink is absolutely freakin’ horrible. It’s kinda like Pocari Sweat (the ion drink of choice here - think Gatorade) and 7-Up mixed together, with a splash of cologne. Which is what my friend thought it was at first. The look on his face when I opened it and took a swig was priceless.
Can’t say the same for the drink though.
Oh well, the limited edition trading card is nice and spiffy, Pity I can’t appreciate it more since I can’t read Japanese and therefore can’t play the newly released Final Fantasy XII.
There are some English reviews floating alound already though. Check out the on-going review at 1UP - they’re some three or four days into their review (well, it’s a long game!)
I can’t wait til it gets released in English in time for Christmas.
