Ninja Gaiden Sigma

To fullfil the sorely lacking games that involves ninja, Tecmo’s Ryu Hayabusa is slashing his way to the PS3 in Ninja Gaiden Sigma, a new take on the Xbox installments in the series, Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden Black. I have not played this game yet but it looks pretty interesting. If it’s anything like Shinobi, i’m in! Some people think that Ninja Gaiden Sigma is made just for PS3 but truth is, you can also play it on Xbox 360.

Check out the trailer here:

It looks very, very playable. Maybe after I am done with Shinobi, I’ll try this out. Hmm.

Thanks for the trailer, it looks good. Although, I have to admit that I’m a little disappointed with what the game has to offer though. Looking at the trailer, it just looks like a clone of Ninja Gaiden, only updated. And Ninja Gaiden Black was already an update to Ninja Gaiden, so I’m surprised they are releasing a new one. I was expecting a newer story, but I guess not.

I highly recommend Ninja Gaiden to you - it’s gameplay is very fluid and fast, the graphics are stunning, and the overall game is incredible. Although, be ready for some extreme difficulty as you get used to the game, as it was and still is one of the hardest RPG style games ever released on any console. If you like Ninja games such as Shinobi, then I assure you that you will LOVE this game.

Even though Ninja Gaiden Black is the expanded version, I suggest playing the original first. Ninja Gaiden updates the weapons, gameplay and also graphics, but most of all it updates it’s already high difficulty. If you start with this, prepare yourself for some insanely high difficulty - I have been playing for at least 2 solid years and still have trouble with the game’s fairly lighter difficulties. Although, there is a Ninja Dog ‘Easy Mode’, but that mode punishes you a lot of points during the game.

Sorry for such a long comment, and keep writing your great articles!
