The Witcher
This is an RPG game for PC only. I am quite sad and am hoping that they would remake it on other platforms like the Xbox360 or something. Maybe in due time they will.
So, the Witcher is a story about witches naturally. Your role would be of Geralt of Rivia, one of the last of the witchers, or professional monster slayers. Sounds interesting yet? The game has a medieval theme to it and like all RPG games, there will be adventures and assignments to complete. The graphics is beautifully done and it’s as if you are truly the witch man yourself. Why don’t they use the term Wicca? I thought male witches are called wiccas. Correct me if i am wrong. Okay, okay, i am being stupid, Witcher is just a name for monster slayers..so it’s not really about witches :P
Anyway, Witchers are sterile mutants with supernatural abilities, who receive special training and preparation. During their training they are also taught to suppress their feelings, which leads many people to believe that they have no emotions. Geralt, the central character in Sapkowski’s stories, is said in the stories to be one of the best witchers.
The Witcher (also known as The Hexer in Poland) is definitely a game I am interested to play. The main character is quite attractive to me already. No, I don’t like animes and cartoon characters. I just think that they make some videogame characters hot. That’s all.
Btw, the Witcher is a PC game but there is also a movie of it out..:)
