The Darkness - Mafias, Demons and The Crow
It’s like a combination of things in this game, The Darkness, but nonetheless it’s a very good one. The main character, Jackie Estacado, looks like The Crow and he belongs to the mafia (which he refers to as “the family”, don’t they always :)); he even speaks like the Godfather when he was lad. One his 21st birthday all hell breaks loose and things seems to go from bad to worse. Nothing is worse than having your own uncle wanting to kill you off because you’re “no good” anymore. That’s when The Darkness visited. A demon, in need of host, and it follows the first male born of the Estacados like a genetic disease - made known to them only on their 21st Birthday. This disease equips its host with a pair of demonic snake like arms, that devours its victims hearts.
So, there Jackie goes, searching for the truth and how to control, and perhaps, rid his family line of The Darkness.
The rest of the game remains to be played by you. There is no fun in telling everything, you see.
